State to State Races: Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon

I only have three states lined up for today, but granted I have been obviously busy this week so lets continue on with a couple of big states.

First let us start with the great state of Ohio. Ohio was a disaster for the GOP in 2006. They lost their senate seat, governor seat, and a big house seat as they threw out the scandal-ridden GOP candidates. So we move on to this election, and Ohio seems to be up in the air once again. Bush narrowly took the state in 2000 and 2004, but again with the recent nationwide rise of the Democratic party, it will be difficult for McCain to retain the state.

Oklahoma doesn't offer very much for the 2008 election. John McCain will easily win the state, and all of it's senators and house members are safe for now.

And then there is Oregon. People seem to little remember how close George W. Bush was to winning this state in 2000, and even though John Kerry stretched it to a four point win, this isn't a lock for the democrats. This one may be a close battleground by the time of the election.

Stay tuned for: Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota

There is no way the GOP survive by the end of 2008. They will likely lose in the both the senate and house and McCain will not be able to beat Barack Obama in the nation election. The Democratic party is set.

If John McCain (Rep-Arizona) loses Ohio or any one of the other swing states that President George W. 'Dubya' Bush (Rep) won in both 2000 and 2004 presidential elections (i.e., Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Nevada and Virginia), which is very likely throughout the campaign considering that the Arizonan still fails to make inroads in the swing states that President Bush never won, then it is all over for him! Senator Barack Obama (Dem-Illinois) has already won the presidency as soon as he emerged as the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, which he finally clinched few days ago, earlier in the campaign. I hope that John McCain already has his concession speech drafted for Election Night on November 4, 2008 since his fate has already been decided due to many voters' strong hatred for Dubya. What makes McCain think that he could win the presidency given that GOP suffered humiliated defeats at the hands of the Democrats overall across the board (i.e., House, Senate, Governor races, etc.) during the 2006 midterm election??!!! Why does he give himself more heartache than he already has??!!! And why doesn't he drop out if he knows the odds are totally against him which will ultimately consume him??!!! Think about it, it is not that hard!

Spell check time: Oregon, with an "o", actually two of them.

Regarding the post, over 100K new Demcrats in the state and fewer Republicans, probably pretty safe its going Blue this election time around as well.
